This personal project was created to remind the political facet that underlies the act of eating – because revolution has to start at home!

By feeding ourselves with local seasonal fruits and vegetables we are casting a vote – perhaps more powerful than that sporadic one we give every 4 years (or 1460 days). This is a vote we cast every single day: “I decide to collaborate with this farmer or I decide to support this corporation; I want my food to be shipped from overseas creating a massive carbon footprint, or do I support local businesses instead?”

My wish is that our choices start to reflect a new – and necessary – level of consciousness; and to start inhabiting another facet: food as spiritual growth – (my next project topic).
